About Kore HVAC Services

Kore HVAC Services is a growing, locally owned HVAC company specializing in residential and light-commercial heating and cooling system design and installation, including steam, hydronic heating, and custom projects.

We focus on doing things the right way: thoughtful system design, clean installations, quality workmanship, and attention to detail. We’re not interested in rushing through jobs or cutting corners.

As we grow, we’re looking for a dependable, motivated individual who wants to learn the HVAC trade and develop real hands-on skills.

This is an opportunity to work directly alongside the owner, gain practical installation experience, and potentially grow into a larger role with the company.

What You’ll Be Doing

The mix of work depends on scheduled projects. You may see a wide range of equipment and custom installations, with tasks matched to your training and performed under supervision.

  • Assist with installing furnaces, central air conditioning, ducted heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, SpacePak and Unico high-velocity systems, and ductwork.
  • Work alongside the owner on steam boilers, cast-iron and high-efficiency hydronic boilers, radiators, baseboard, radiant floors, and fan coils.
  • Gain exposure to rooftop units, garage unit heaters, and other residential and light-commercial systems.
  • Assist with tank, tankless, indirect-fired, and solar water-heating projects, as scheduled.
  • Learn about circulators, pumps, zone valves, thermostats, and complex forced-air and hydronic zoning controls.
  • Help with custom projects, unusual systems, and solutions built around a particular home or building—including piping, airflow improvements, and installation layout.
  • Help fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal duct systems.
  • Assist with refrigerant piping, condensate drainage, equipment placement, and installation preparation under supervision.
  • Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and materials.
  • Prepare and clean job sites while protecting customers’ homes.
  • Learn proper installation techniques, tool usage, and job-site safety.
  • Help troubleshoot installation challenges and develop practical problem-solving skills.

What We’re Looking For

No prior HVAC experience required. We’re willing to train the right person.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
  • A willingness to learn, ask questions, and accept constructive feedback.
  • Attention to detail and pride in doing quality work.
  • Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools, or an eagerness to learn.
  • The physical ability to perform construction-related tasks, including lifting equipment and working on ladders.
  • Reliable transportation to designated job sites or meeting locations.
  • A respectful, professional attitude when working in customers’ homes.

Experience in HVAC, construction, mechanical work, or the skilled trades is a plus, but not required.

What We Offer

  • Starting pay of $20–$22/hour as a W-2 employee.
  • Part-time, project-based work with hours varying based on scheduled installations.
  • Hands-on training directly alongside an experienced HVAC professional.
  • Exposure to traditional and modern HVAC systems—from steam and cast-iron boilers to high-efficiency hydronics, heat pumps, and custom installations.
  • Opportunities for increased pay and responsibility as skills develop.
  • Potential to transition into a more consistent or full-time position as the company grows.
  • A small-company environment where quality matters more than rushing through jobs.

Who Would Be a Great Fit?

Someone who enjoys working with their hands, likes figuring out how things work, and wants to build a career in the skilled trades.

You don’t need to know everything on day one. We’re more interested in someone who shows up, pays attention, takes pride in their work, and wants to improve.

We’re building a company with high standards, and we’d like to find someone who wants to grow with it.
