Heat Pump & Mini-Split Installation in Chicago
A heat pump plan built around your home.
Measure first. Choose equipment second.
For a new system design, I measure the home, draw a floor plan, measure the windows, and assess heating and cooling loads room by room. That information helps us choose a direction and set expectations for how the system will perform.
Match the system to how you live.
Ducted heat pumps and ductless mini-splits offer different ways to serve a space. I look at the existing ductwork where relevant, the rooms you use most, and your comfort concerns. We discuss what you want to improve and where a compromise makes sense for your budget.
Choose for the client, not the brand.
I am not committed to a manufacturer because of a sales relationship. I explain the equipment options and tradeoffs in the context of your home. You choose the direction without pressure to buy the most elaborate solution.
Finish with measurements, not assumptions.
I want the installation to look considered and clean. Then I check how the system is actually performing. Depending on the equipment and installation, commissioning can include airflow, blower settings, refrigerant checks, and balancing adjustments, following the requirements of the system.
